When Heather and I decided to make a blog, we figured the themes would come to us. They didn’t. That makes this blog about just anything. We mostly write open letters, record our dialogue, and write random posts about anything we find interesting. Instead of telling you more about what we do, let us define ourselves by what we don’t do.

We don’t buy over-sized t-shirts.

We don’t walk around Chernobyl.

We do pet fluffy things, but we don’t do that here.

We don’t eat chicken-noodle soup with a side of dish detergent on a lawn chair in the middle of a hot day.

We don’t admit writing that was fun.

We don’t tally up the days by etching lines into the walls with our fingernails(I swear, it must’ve been the dog).

We don’t tear our shirts apart from the collar, pretending to be the Hulk.

We don’t sing about our long-lost cousin’s multiple sex adventures (But if we had a long-lost cousin, and if we did sing, it’d be good).

We don’t lick glass.

We don’t watch Spongebob (Unless no one’s looking…).

We dun rite collokwialee.

And we certainly,

do NOT

put pickles under the couch.

Are you getting the picture yet? We’re not a lot of things, but we are one thing; two rubbers just trying to get out there, and not break under the pressure.
(I’m not going to lie, Lissy, after I read this line, I could only picture a teenage girl crying as her boyfriend fled from the room.)
